Stuck? Write to us.

There's no ticket system and no bot. Send an email and a person who works on Sunday will read it.

help@sundaycare.app

Send us an email — questions, problems, billing, a feature that's driving you mad, or a request to delete something. Sunday is a small operation, so please allow a few days for a reply. Everything gets one.

If something's broken

Telling us these four things will usually save a round trip: what you tapped, what you expected, what happened instead, and roughly when. A screenshot is worth a lot. Please don't email screenshots of insurance cards or medical documents — describe the problem instead, and we'll ask if we need more.

What Sunday is

Sunday is a phone app for the adult children looking after an aging parent. It holds the record — the medication list, the doctors, the insurance, the appointments, the paperwork from the last hospital stay — and lets the siblings and caregivers who share the job reach the same one.

Photograph an insurance card or a pill bottle and Sunday reads it, shows you what it read, and files it once you confirm. Ask it a question and it answers from your own family's record. There's an emergency card that works with no signal, and a workspace for thinking through assisted living or in-home care when that time comes.

Sunday is not a medical service. It doesn't diagnose, doesn't interpret test results, doesn't suggest doses, and never tracks whether a pill was taken. In an emergency, call 911.

Questions we get

Who can see our family's record?

The people you invite, and nobody else. Each person has a role — organizer, family, caregiver or viewer — and what they can do depends on it. No other family can reach your record; that's enforced in the database, not just in the app. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Can my brother see what I ask Sunday, or how I answered the check-in?

No. Your Ask Sunday conversations and your weekly check-in answers are private to you. Nobody else in the circle can read them, including the organizer.

Does the AI see our documents?

Yes, and it's worth understanding how. When you photograph a document, the file goes to Anthropic's Claude to be read, and the reading comes back for you to confirm. When you ask a question, Sunday sends a summary of the record — including the readings of the documents most relevant to your question — so the answer can be grounded in it. Insurance member IDs and group numbers are stripped out first and stay in the app. The full picture, including the limits of that redaction, is in section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

Sunday read something off a document wrong.

Fix it. Every reading is shown to you before anything is saved, and you can edit any field on the confirmation screen. If it's already filed, open the record and correct it there. AI reading a photograph isn't perfect — check anything that matters against the original, which Sunday keeps.

Why doesn't Sunday remind us about medications?

Because it can't know whether a pill was actually taken, and a reminder that implies otherwise is worse than none. Sunday keeps the medication list — what she's on, at what strength, prescribed by whom — which is what you need at an appointment or in an emergency. Dose-by-dose tracking was considered and deliberately left out.

How do I invite my sister?

Circle tab → invite, pick her role, send her the link. Links expire after seven days. She'll install Sunday, make her own account, and land on the same record.

Can I keep records for both my parents?

A circle can hold up to two care recipients. Settings → add a recipient.

How does emailing documents in work?

Care+ families get their own Sunday address — Settings → Email documents in shows it, with a button to copy it. Forward a statement or a discharge summary and Sunday files it. Mail from you or your circle files automatically; mail from anyone else waits under Needs review on Records until an editor approves it. You can add a pharmacy or an insurer to a trusted list so their mail files automatically too.

What does Care+ cost, and what do I get?

$14.99 a month or $149 a year, covering everyone in your circle. It makes Ask Sunday unlimited (the free plan gives each person five questions a month), lets you set more than one appointment reminder at lead times you choose, and gives the family its own email address for documents.

How do I cancel Care+?

Apple handles the billing, so cancellation happens there: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sunday → Cancel Subscription. Deleting your Sunday account does not cancel the subscription — cancel with Apple first. Refunds are Apple's to give, but write to us and we'll help you ask.

What happens if Care+ lapses?

Nothing is deleted. Ask Sunday goes back to five questions a month, reminders go back to one the day before, and mail sent to your family's address waits in the queue instead of filing. Everything already in the record stays put.

I forgot my password.

Tap "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and Sunday emails you a link that signs you in so you can set a new one. The link is single-use and expires — if it's stale, just ask for another.

How do I delete my account, and what happens to the record?

Settings → Delete account, in the app, no email required. If you're the only person in the circle, everything goes — the record, every document, all of it. If others are in the circle, the family's records stay with them and your name comes off what you added; your check-ins and your account are deleted. It can't be undone. Please read section 10 of the Privacy Policy first — it includes one honest caveat about stored files that we'd rather you heard from us.

Can I delete just one thing?

You can delete a filed document (which removes the stored file too), an appointment, an open invitation and a trusted sender from inside the app. Some things don't have a delete button yet — individual medications, providers, insurance policies, tour notes, your Ask Sunday history. Write to us and we'll remove them for you.

Is Sunday HIPAA compliant?

No, and we'd rather say so than use the phrase loosely. HIPAA applies to providers, health plans and the companies working for them. Sunday is a consumer app you use to keep your own family's copies of your own paperwork, so it isn't a covered entity or a business associate, and we don't sign business associate agreements. Your information is protected by our Privacy Policy and the security behind it instead. The longer answer.

Where can I get Sunday?

It's in private testing and not in the App Store or Google Play yet. If you'd like to know when it opens up, email us and we'll add you to the list.

I think I found a security problem.

Please tell us at help@sundaycare.app and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else. We take this seriously and we'll answer you.
